Opry at the Legacy
Boji Bay is thrilled to bring to Legacy Park for the first time, Opry At The Legacy. This region has been producing a top level Opry show for the past 8-9 years with annual shows every December in Jackson, Minnesota. So in 2017, this amazing show will be at Boji Bay for a rare Sunday evening show. It will feature a 6-8 person house band, 6-7 featured singers and professional MC’s. Originating in Jacksonville, Florida, the Classics IV dominated the charts in the 60's and 70's with such hits as: “Spooky,” “Stormy,” “Traces,” “Everyday With You Girl,” Change Of Heart” and “What Am I Crying For.” The Classics IV are an amazing way to open this once in a lifetime show.
Gary Puckett & The Union Gap were one of the most consistent chart Toppers of the late 60's and early 70's. Their hits included: “Woman Woman,” “Young Girl,” “Over You,” “Lady Willpower” and “This Girl Is A Woman Now.” It will be amazing as Gary Puckett brings his signature voice to Boji Bay Legacy Park.
The Ideas of March had one of the true top selling hits of the 70’s with “Vehicle” that so often heard today throughout national media. They also charted again with “L A Goodbye,” You Wouldn’t Listen To Me,” and “Roller Coaster.” Their founder, Jim Peterik would go on to form Survivor and was the driving force behind such hits as “Eye Of The Tiger,” “High On You,” “The Search Is Over,” “I Can’t Hold Back,” “Burning Heart” and “Is This Love.” In addition he wrote and produced “Hold On Loosely” for 38 Special.
